| How do I upload results? |
Go to the local match upload page and use that form. You will need a password (assigned as part of the classifier result upload system), and a results "webfile" generated from EzWinScore. |
| How does this differ from the Major Match Results system? |
| Why are submitting major match results and submitting classifier scores on-line separate processes? |
| Why aren't combined results posted? |
Combined results (one listing for all divisions, rather than a separate results list for each division) have no official standing under the rules. Since this service is an official offering from USPSA, only "official results" are supported. |
Does my club have to use this service? |
No. Use of this service by clubs is strictly optional. Your club may still post scores on your own web site if you prefer |
How much does this cost my club? |
Nothing. This is a free service from USPSA to our member clubs. |
How much does this cost USPSA? |
Nothing. This service was developed at no charge to USPSA, and does not require any extra payment to our web hosting company. USPSA rents a dedicated server at www.ev1servers.net, and sublets some of the machine's capacity to recover part of this cost. We still have plenty of capacity to host club level results even with our current server load. |
Come on, nothing is free. What's the catch? |
The "catch" is that this is a USPSA service offered to member clubs for matches run under the USPSA rules and scored with EzWinScore. Since the results will reside on the USPSA web page (www.uspsa.org), USPSA retains the right to display sponsor or vendor banners on the results pages. |
How do I post a link directly from my club's web page to club results on the USPSA site? |
Use the following link: http://www.uspsa.org/mr/clubresults.php?year=latest&ccode1=clubcode or http://www.uspsa.org/mr/members/clubresults.php?year=latest&ccode1=clubcode Where "clubcode" is your clubs identification number. The second form of the address that contains "/members" will prompt for the USPSA member password, but will include last names in the results. |
What if we need to post updated results? |
Just repost results from the match, and previous results will be replaced. |
How long will results remain posted? |
Results will remain posted for a minimum of five years - and probably much longer. We will give several months notice if we find it necessary to purge old match results, and will maintain an archive of old results at headquarters as well. |
I use a scoring program other than EzWinscore. Will this system allow me to post results? |
No. This system is integrated with EzWinScore, and uses a feature of that program which generates a single file optimized for posting to the web. |
All my matches are listed by date. Can I give my matches names instead? |
No. The use of a date for the match name is an important part of the automated nature of this system. If you match has a "name", chances are pretty good it's large enough to be considered a "major match", and should be listed in our major match results area. In general, if you match is shot over several days, or you have a lot of people staying in local hotels to compete, it probably qualifies as a major match. |
Will you help me change the results? |
We certainly hope not :). This system is designed to be fully automated and self-service. If you need help with your club password please follow the instructions on the Classifier Services page. If you feel there is an error in the uploading system, please email the USPSA Webmaster. While we will correct bugs as they are discovered, USPSA staff and the webmaster cannot make manual changes to your posted results. You may re-upload a new copy of the results for any match if you wish to make corrections. |
