Dear Junior Competitor, Due to the changes in the law concerning possession of handguns and travel with guns that occurred with the Crime Bill, we have drafted the enclosed consent forms for you and your parent or legal guardian to complete and sign. The Consent for Possession of Handgun by Juvenile form is to be completed and returned to your club prior to the match. Be sure to keep a copy in your possession while competing and while you are in possession of a handgun. The Consent for Possession of Handgun by Juvenile, Appointment of Temporary Guardian form is to be completed, signed and returned along with the other consent form only if your parent or legal guardian will not be present during the competition. You may not be able to compete if the Consent for Possession of Handgun by Juvenile form is not completed and signed by the start of competition. You may bring the signed and completed form with you to the competition and present it at that time. Sincerely, Dave Thomas Executive Manager USPSA - - - Junior s shooting in the Open or Limited Nationals will use the form they received in their slot applicaiton packets, NOT the consent forms provided on the USPSA web page.
