| The following is a formal restatement of the policy put into effect on May 25, 2000. UNITED STATES PRACTICAL SHOOTING/IPSC INC. BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING Conducted by e-mail May 25, 2000 Officers Present: Michael Voigt-President, John Amidon-Vice President, Dave Thomas-Executive Manager Officers Not Present: Kathy Littman-Secretary Directors Present: Area 2-Jake Kempton, Area 3-Rick Hebert, Area 4-Troy McManus, Area 5-Neil Keller, Area 6-John Hurst, Area 7-Randy Cestaro, Area 8-Mike Martin Directors Not Present: Area 1-David Carruthers President Michael Voigt called for an electronic meeting on May 25, 2000. The purpose of this meeting is to approve the final version of the magazine length gauge as the official USPSA magazine measuring tool. Motion by Troy McManus: Area 4 moves to accept the magazine length gauge, as made by EGW, as the official USPSA magazine measuring tool. Seconded by Area 3-Rick Hebert. Vote: Area 1 - Aye (by proxy given to Area 4), Area 2 - Aye, Area 3 - Aye, Area 4 - Aye, Area 5 - Aye, Area 6 - Aye, Area 7 - Aye, Area 8 - Aye Decision: Passed unanimously Discussion: The new gauge will be available for shooters to purchase directly from EGW. The gauge used by USPSA Match Officials will be differentiated by color. "NROI clarification of April 2008:" A magazine needs to conform to the length limit as well as the gauge to comply with our rules, also this means that the gauge extends to infinity, no curved magazines or other similarities. | |
