2024 Special Election for Area 4 Director

Per the Board of Directors regular January 2024 meeting, the Board voted to set the cut-off date for the Special Election for the position of Area 4 Director as March 30, 2024. The cut-off date is the date that all nominating petitions must be received and verified by USPSA in order to be considered a candidate.

Please note: the blank petition form must be obtained from USPSA HQ. We will not accept any other version of the petition. Please email: [email protected] to request the form.

Timeline for the Special Election per Section 6.6 of the USPSA Bylaws:

Cut-Off Date - March 30, 2024. Petitions for office are due.

Fifteen (15) Days after the Cut-Off Date - April 14, 2024. The ballot list is prepared and sent to the Election Firm.

Thirty (30) days after the ballot list is sent to the Election Firm the Voting Begins: May 14, 2024.

Thirty-One (31) Days after voting begins the Voting Ends: June 14, 2024.

Fifteen (15) Days after Voting Ends: Date for the election firm to tabulate, certify, and deliver results to the Managing Director and Board of Directors: June 28, 2024.

After the results are delivered, the Board will vote to set the date the winners will begin their terms. The date to begin the term shall not be later than sixty (60) days after the results are delivered unless a different arrangement has been agreed upon between the winner and the Board. Please see Section 6.2 of the bylaws for the Board of Directors eligibility requirements.
