We are writing to you today with an important update regarding our recent announcement about changes to our membership dues structure.

Your voices have been heard. Since we communicated the planned increase in membership dues, many of you have reached out to share your thoughts, concerns, and insights. We want you to know that we have listened intently to what you have to say. The passionate feedback and constructive dialogue that have emerged from our community is a testament to the vitality and commitment of our members.

In light of your feedback, and after extensive deliberation, the USPSA Board of Directors has made the decision to delay the planned increase in membership dues. We understand that this change was met with concern, and we want to assure you that our commitment to affordability, accessibility, and the overall well-being of our members remains steadfast. October 1, 2023, will be the effective date of the membership dues increase. Those members that renewed or joined USPSA after the increase on July 28th will be refunded the difference.

This decision is not without challenges. As we initially communicated, the operational costs and the impacts of inflation continue to present significant pressures. However, we believe in finding innovative solutions that align with the needs and values of our members.

To that end, we are actively working on cutting back expenses and optimizing our spending. This includes a comprehensive review of our current operations, identifying areas where we can enhance efficiency without sacrificing the quality of our services and events.

We are committed to regular updates on our progress and transparency in our decision making. Your continued engagement, questions, and feedback are not only welcome but essential as we navigate this path together.
