I am a retired pharmacist from Maryland. I got my first gun in 1999 and started shooting bowling pin, falling steel, steel challenge and GSSF matches. In 2003, a friend recommended that I try USPSA and said, facetiously, I think, that it would change my life. It turned out that he was right as it really did change my life.

I have spent most weekends over the past 20+ years shooting, building, ROing and running USPSA matches. I got my initial RO certification in 2005 and took the CRO course seven years later. I became a Range Master in 2020. I have run a monthly level 1 match in Pennsylvania since 2019. In 2026 I was selected to join the NROI Instructor corps.
